Racing Biography

This is my third season racing. We moved to Tennessee in January of 2007. I saw my first Motocross race in October of 2007. On our way home from the race I told my parents that I would like to give it a try. I received my first bike, a Yamaha YZ85 on my birthday a few weeks later. I started my first beginner race in late October. I moved out of the beginner class and into the 85-Senior and Supermini class. An injury in which I broke my right femur on April 11, 2009 kept me from qualifying at the 2009 Regional’s. I had qualified in three different regions at the 2009 Area Qualifiers. I moved up to a Kawasaki 250F for the 2010 racing season. I ran many 2010 Area Qualifiers in which I advanced to the Regional’s in all. I sustained an injury at an Area Qualifier in May 2010 that kept me out of my first two Regional’s. I was able to run the 2010 BAJA MX Regional but was unable to obtain a qualifying position. After that, I made the decision to move out of the 250C class and start running 250B and Schoolboy for the remaining 2010 Season and focus on becoming a faster and safer rider. My dad has built a track at our house which allows me to practice daily. I ran our local King of the Hill Series and finished with the Championship in both the 250B and Schoolboy classes. My plans for 2011 are to attend as many of the area qualifiers as possible to capitalize on my chances to make it through the Regionals and qualify for Loretta Lynn’s in 2011. I will also be representing the KOTH this year on their racing team. I intend to stick with my training program in order to stay in shape and practice my techniques regularly to improve my form.

Thank you!
